Bio
Omar López also known as Quicky, started his career in radio back
in the year 2001. He worked for three years at WAEI FM 96 in Mayaguez, P.R.
In this company he worked different shifts and he animated the summer
festivals sponsored by the company.
In the year 2004 Omar was nominated for the Paoli Awards, in the
weekend category of the year. Having worked for three years at WAEI he
decided to try his luck else where.
Once in the Metropolitan Area, mid 2004 he was hired by the
Spanish Broadcasting System. While at SBS he worked at Onda 94, which later
on became to be known as the first and only Reggaeton Radio Station in
Puerto Rico. Till this day he is working for Reggaeton94.
Come December 2006, Quicky toured the island as the announcer
for Coors Light beer.
